PTAS
participates in the annual Christmas Bird Count every year on December
26. Members count birds in a designated area in Collin County surrounding
the Heard Museum. The Annual Christmas Bird Count brings invaluable contributions
for compiling data about trends in over-wintering birds across the Americas
for ornithological studies. See the National
Audubon Society web site for more fascinating and informative
information...

You
can be a better birder at the monthly PTAS meetings held at the Heard
